Harry Cherniak

Harry Cherniak is a lawyer and entrepreneur. He completed his MSc at the London School of Economics, J.D. at the University of Toronto, and BA in Honors Business Administration at Western University’s Ivey Business School.

Following law school, Harry practiced corporate law at Torys LLP, working on several of the firm’s most high-profile public and private M&A deals, and taught at the University of Southern California, Shanghai University and Exeter University. Previously in the film and television industry as a producer, publicist and lawyer, Harry worked with dozens of Academy Award-winning actors, directors and producers, and in public policy and government relations, advising the Uganda Communications Commission, the Rwanda Development Board, and British MP Jon Trickett, former Shadow Lord President of the Privy Council and Minister of the Cabinet Office.
